No interior da embarcação, através dos vaus, consegue-se ver a escoa de estibordo reforçando a ligação das cavernas. Sobressaindo do talabardão, que é rematado à proa por uma buçarda, vêem-se dois cabeços em cada bordo, que atravessam o trincaniz como prolongamento das balizas da vante.
